Integrating xAPI into Hype without any forethought did not make sense. There had to be a method to the madness. That's why we exposed the set-up of xAPI in one place to organise project specific aspects of the specification. The HypeXAPI() function in the Hype resources well is divided into three parts so that you can plan your project. For example, you can use a systematic method like Evidence-Centred Design to decide: 

- What do you want to measure?
- Why are you measuring it?
- How are you going to measure it?
